TSS is based at the new North East NHS Surgery Centre in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, part of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust. The newly opened £14 million Surgery Centre is fully equipped to the highest technical standards with four state of the art operating theatres, 60 beautifully presented five-star single bedrooms all with private en-suite facilities, a café and relaxing patio area. Comfortable, clean, airy and inviting, our facilities and staff work hard to ensure your stay is easy and stress-free.
Each of our services is led by an eminent consultant and TSS is directed by two senior and highly-experienced consultants. Skilled nursing and medical staff are available 24 hours a day with direct on site access to high dependency or critical care facilities should the need arise. The Surgery Centre has extremely low infection rates and is able to report a negligible MRSA infection rate.
Though based at the North East Surgery Centre, TSS can operate from appropriate facilities of partner organisations across the North East.
