TSS currently deliver pain management services for a local hospital trust and offer the full spectrum of care from consultation with a consultant pain specialist, supported by a clinical nurse specialist, pain physiotherapist and clinical psychologist. The outpatient service is complemented by timely pain relieving treatments and procedures such as Tens therapy and, where appropriate, therapeutic epidurals, facet joint injections and local injections at specified sites. Clinics are currently delivered in the North East NHS Surgery Centre, however, the location is flexible should commissioning primary care trusts require care closer to home.
